Best Practices: Assessing Requests for Reasonable Accommodations to Keep Animals in Housing
A new fair housing training from Silver State Fair Housing Council!
“Best Practices: Assessing Requests for Reasonable Accommodations to Keep Animals in Housing” is a two hour training based on HUD’s Assistance Animal Notice FHEO-2020-01 in January, 2020. This training provides best practices for housing providers tasked with evaluating and processing reasonable accommodation requests for service and assistance animals. Topics will include documentation for non-observable disabilities, internet certifications, “unique” animals, and more.
Participants will receive fair housing materials and resources prior to the training, as well as a training certificate upon completing a training evaluation.
Please note that there are no continuing education credits associated with this training.

Training is conducted via Zoom.
Participants must attend the entire training and complete a training evaluation in order to receive a training certificate.
