Silver State Fair Housing Council is proud to offer a new, accredited fair housing training!
Ensuring Equal Housing Opportunity: Fair Housing Rights for People with Disabilities is a three hour course accredited by the Nevada Real Estate Commission (CE.6988000 RE – 3 hours Ethics) and the Commission on Common-Interest Communities and Hotel Condominiums (CE.0482000-CAM – 3 hours Law and Legislation). This training focuses specifically on disability related concerns. Upon completion of this training, participants will have gained knowledge to:
- Recognize Fair Housing issues
- Understand fair housing laws and other protections for people with disabilities in housing
- Gain tools and resources to address reasonable modification and reasonable accommodation requests
Participants will receive a comprehensive packet of information and resources, as well as a certificate of participation.
