Principles of Fair Housing Litigation
The “Principles of Fair Housing Litigation” is a continuing legal education seminar on Fair Housing for Nevada attorneys, paralegals, real estate professionals, and fair housing advocates. The instructor presents on the topics of the Fair Housing Act, basics of the law, case organization, case assessment, litigation and a case study/special topic.
An afternoon session will focus on the role of licensed real estate professionals in the Nevada housing market – What Every Fair Housing Attorney Should Know About Nevada’s Licensed Real Estate Professionals. Discussion will include licensing requirements, including fair housing requirements and how they are enforced, and fair housing issues for real estate licensees across the state. Bryan Greene Director of Fair Housing Policy, will share fair housing efforts and issues identified by the National Association of REALTORS®.
